I remember being interested in photography in grade school. In high school I got my first real camera, a Yashica-Mat twin lens reflex. My sophomore year in college I became a paid photographer, working for the school paper which was published 4 days a week. I learned to use a 4x5 Speed Graphic, develop film, print photographs and was paid $35.00 a month. I've owned several different cameras in 35mm and 6x6 formats and have been using Nikon for about 20 years. I've owned several Nikon bodies including F4, FM2n, N90s, D40 and D200, plus several lenses. I'm now in the process of paring my kit down to a more manageable level
While many of the photos here were taken with a Nikon D40, I have given that camera to my son and upgraded to the Nikon D200. The D200 has the same solid feel in my hands as the Nikon F4 and is really a fun camera to use.
When I'm not taking pictures I'm probably out on my Scott CR1 Team road bike training for the 2009 Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic, or teaching downhill skiing for Eagle Mount at Red Lodge Mountain Resort.
Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoyed the photos.
